Cosa accadrebbe se per far colpo sul ragazzo che ti piace, facessi finta di essere fidanzata con un ragazzo tanto bello quanto impossibile?
Demi è una studentessa, all’ultimo anno di liceo. Voti altissimi, ballerina di hip hop, iscritta nel consiglio studentesco.
Nico è la stella di punta della squadra di football, affascinante e taciturno in mezzo alla gente, eppure desiderato da qualsiasi ragazza che lo incontra.
Nonostante abbiano la casa con il giardino comunicante, da qualche anno non si parlano più. L’occasione giusta sarà data da un progetto di chimica, dove dovranno fare coppia.
Questo romanzo è coinvolgente dall’inizio alla fine. Le bugie e i segreti hanno le gambe corte. Riusciranno a sopportarne il peso?
È bello alternare il pov tra Demi e Nico, riuscendo ad aggiungere tasselli su tasselli per arrivare al quadro completo finale.
Mi è piaciuto molto leggere questo libro: ho rivissuto le emozioni dell’ultimo anno di liceo, con feste e balli con amiche e amici speciali, ho riassaporato la leggerezza nell’affrontare la vita e il peso che ogni singola parola detta male possa avere. I sogni per il futuro e i ricordi del passato che influenzano il proprio presente.
Certo, le famiglie dei protagonisti non sono proprio di grande appoggio, però riusciranno entrambi a crescere e maturare prima del previsto.
Amore, amicizia, segreti, bugie, danze e partite, sentimenti e qualche scazzottata. Da leggere assolutamente!

High marks, hip hop dancer, registered on the student council. Nico is the star of the football team, charming and taciturn in the midst of people, yet desired by any girl who meets him. Although they have a house with a communicating garden, they have not spoken to each other for a few years. The right opportunity will be given by a chemistry project, where they will have to make a couple. This novel is engaging from start to finish. Lies and secrets have short legs. Will they be able to bear the weight? It’s nice to alternate the pov between Demi and Nico, managing to add pieces on pieces to get to the final complete picture. I really enjoyed reading this book: I relived the emotions of the last year of high school, with parties and dances with friends and special friends, I savored the lightness in facing life and the weight that every single word spoken badly can have. Dreams for the future and memories of the past that influence one’s present. Of course, the families of the protagonists are not exactly of great support, but they will both manage to grow and mature earlier than expected. Love, friendship, secrets, lies, dances and games, feelings and some fistfights. To read absolutely!
